After the excitement of winning the Olympic bid on Wednesday, the attacks today just seem very hard to believe. 38 confirmed dead, probably more to come who have been buried under rubble in the Underground or just cannot be identified. At least 700 people have been injured from the 4 blasts, about 50 being critical.
I knew it was coming, we all did, after supporting the war in Iraq, but it was a huge shock when it did. Thankfully all the people I knew in London at the time were safe, but I know that not everybody was so fortunate. My thoughts go with them.
