Oh, I forgot to mention:

I have two tickets for Fiona Apple on the 11th! :D

She's playing one date in France and one in London, and I just had to go. Not sure who I'll be going with yet, but at least I have a ticket. They're in Circle, row H, which looks quite far back from the seating chart, but I think it's a small venue so it shouldn't matter too much. This time I'm also going to remember to bring my camera!

I saw 'V for Vendetta' last night and I absolutely loved it. It's definitely worth watching; brilliant acting, brilliant plot, brilliant idea. I didn't really know what to expect as I've never read the comics and the adverts didn't really seem to explain very much, but I thought it was a very gripping film.

It also has Stephen Fry in it, but this is just an extra bonus, rather than being the reason why it's so good!

Regina Spektor has two of her new songs on her MySpace page - both I'm already familiar with from live tracks, but they're very different on the recorded track. If you're expecting the same fairly raw sounding tracks, you may be in for a shock (I certainly was with the first few seconds of 'Fidelity' with that drum beat!) but she says this is all her choice. Fiona Apple's latest CD was fairly heavily produced, but it's still one of my favourite albums. And, it's still amazing live. :D

I can't wait til her new album comes out. Her 'Soviet Kitsch' CD literally never leaves my CD player these days! She's just amazing, both voice (which you really can't appreciate from the studio recordings) and musical talent. I've said it before, but I shall repeat; make sure you check Regina out, and quickly.
